Corporate Talks

I have had the privilege of recently attending Ann Schnurr’s ZOOM Procrastination session. This was presented to a group of Air Canada Employee Assistance Peers representing CUPE flight attendants and IAMAW machinists and aerospace workers.

Ann’s presentation was well paced, informative, thought provoking and easy to digest.  Her relaxed, professional demeanour was enjoyable to hear and her messages were relatable. She fostered a self-awareness in many of the participants through her willingness to explore questions throughout the presentation. We left with a clearer understanding of the topic which nurtured and guided us towards living a more fulfilled and timely life.

I would highly recommend Ann Schnurr as an engaging and knowledgeable presenter.

Annie Dillard, American author said, “How we spend our days is, of course, is how we spend our lives.”

It is estimated that the average person will spend about 90,000 hours at work over their lifetime!

Providing a workplace that develops and nurtures employees both personally and professionally results in a vibrant business environment where both the employees and the business can prosper immensely!

Businesses lose staggering amounts of revenue every year due to sick days, “presenteeism”, procrastination, anxiety and depression.

Often many employees are not aware of the extent to which they are struggling or that they can live a more fulfilled life and so may not engage Employee Assistant programs and other company benefits.

I offer safe and thought-provoking seminars that engage employees to reflect and explore growth potential in their lives.

The seminars engage the mind/body relationship with both information and body exercises so that employees can gain a “felt sense” of how they embody various issues on a daily basis. Employees gain insight on how to become more self-aware, they experience new techniques to address their challenges so they can move from Reaction into Response that allows for Resolve in their challenges.
